Some tips for taking good photos:

Take the photos a few days after the last trim.
Clean the hoof and sole of mud and dirt.
Take the photo in natural light rather than using the camera’s flash.
Ensure the hoof is on a flat clean surface.
In the hoof width and length photos, place the 0 on the measuring tape where the hoof starts.
In the front and side view photos, position the camera as close to the ground as possible.
Take 4 photos of each hoof, off fore and hind; near fore and hind.
