Sizing

FLOATING BOOTS SIZE CHART

This size chart is intended for use with both the Competition Glue-On and Trainer 2019 models.

To ensure the right size you must take the correct measurements of the width and length of each hoof, you can see how to do it in how to measure for hoof boots section

Once you have these two measurements for each hoof (width and length), go to the size chart and find the corresponding boot size from the table.

EXAMPLE: We have a hoof that is 118 mm wide and 120 mm long.

We would go to the table where we have the width between 115-121 mm and the length between 110-130 mm, therefore the corresponding boot size would be the M0.

If your horse’s measurements are in between one size and the next, if you are not going to be doing very demanding riding, go for the larger size.

If your horse’s measurements are in between one size and the next, if you are not going to be doing very demanding riding, go for the larger size.

If on the contrary, what you are looking for is a tighter boot, keep in mind that in the ranges of measurements, the upper one is the maximum size that the boot can reach, by adjusting it with heat.

EXAMPLE: We have a hoof that is 121 mm wide and 130 mm long.

When we go to the table should we have the width between 115-121 mm or between 121-126, then M0 or M1 ?

Choose the M1 if you want easy adjustment and you are not going to be doing very demanding riding.

Choose the M0 if what you want is a tighter boot for more demanding riding. (In this case, you would have to make the adjustment with heat).

The use of M sizes on the front hooves and P sizes on the rear are recommended. BUT it will not always be the most advisable, since by their nature, there are rear hooves that are better suited to an M and front hooves where a P size fits better
